Kick kick splash splash!
Every morning Cassie with the help of Anna takes a group of children to the beach, where they gradually are turning into little swimmers. They really enjoy their time at the beach! Thank you Cassie for all you do for the children and tandem!!!

Big plans...
As you may know, Mattel Children's Foundation is funding a consecutive project in Pikpa in collaboration with tandem.
We are going to be renovating a ward which hosts up to 18 children with the help of Schema Architecture & Engineering and Eleven Design. But we are not JUST renovating a ward. We are turning a ward into a HOME. After the renovation each child will have its own personal space and belongings. After the completion of the renovation tandem will also fund a psychologist to work with the staff and children in order to assure they will adopt home like habits and attitudes!
Can't wait!!!!
And the name of the village...
KATASKINOSI (which means camp in Greek). For many years the children's favorite time of year has been summer camp. Right after it is finished they start asking about the next one!!!

Driving the tram
On the way back V. Had the chance to ride right next to the drivers. They are usually nice like that and sometimes they let the children push some buttons!!!

Yoomoo
On Friday our children enjoyed their frozen yoghurt at YOOMOO for te second time. The people there are so nice and thoughtful towards us!
Baptism of Stella and Aggelos
Yesterday many people showed up in the little church of pikpa to witness the baptism of Aggelos by Konstantina Kosmidou and Stella-Myrto by Vasso Patseli and Vaggelis Tsamopoulos. Everything was made with such love. After the church the people were invited to the activity center for a party hosted by the godmothers, godfather and the future foster mother of Aggelos.

Loutraki nostalgia...
Not a day goes by without the children and the volunteers thinking about our lovely vacation in Loutraki. We would like to thank Mr. Giannis Kounelis and Mrs. Fanny Kouneli for generously sponsoring the whole week!
